There are many definitions and versions of the Miami we all know and love. For some of us, it’s a safe haven from difficulty, for others, it’s a glorious watering hole quenching our thirst for culture, and yet, for all of us, it’s home. In our little tropical oasis, we have all come to relate to the many aspects of its ever-growing personality, and through the all the craziness, members of our community have still managed to carve out a place for themselves where they can spend their days inspiring us to do better, be better, and feel better. This selflessness and reminder for authentic connection is what we believe makes someone a true Miami Original.
Whether they were born here or not, it doesn’t take birth or blood to make someone want to leave their current city better than when they found it. Through self-expression or just sharing a great recipe, Miami’s many creative communities are home to some true OGs and one of the city’s favorite home-brewed beers is transforming its brand into a platform that magnifies these inspiring stories. Through its recently-launched Miami Original campaign, Havana Lager is seeking to define what it means to be a Miami Original from the unique perspective of influential Miamians in their own right.
